2024 and woah! the year has already bolted out the gate.
Just finished designing the finer points of a retractable greenhouse sail, (a Shaderunner), with Aalta of Sydney. Which is being manufactured as I type.

Also had a very nice RedEarth lithium phosphate battery, (Australian made), installed to compliment the dual solar panel array and dual inverters.
Now to switch electricity suppliers and automate the best wholesale price then configure the battery management.

The most important thing though is the progress of the leather micro strip cutter for micro braid pendant necklaces which is up to version 14.
It needed 4 mods:
1 Finalise sharpening the triple tungsten carbide blade sets. (done).
2 Make it more robust so it doesn’t tilt a little when cutting. (done).
3 Make & install “between blade” tynes.
4 Fit a cutter height stop to semi automate the setup process.
It’s quite hard and tedious work making your own machinery but that’s just the way things go.
I still have 60 pendants sitting on the bench ready to go, so can’t wait to finish the strip cutter and get on with producing the multi coloured micro braid necklaces!.

Ai suggested I provide more details and images – not a chance! They are all 1 off, (or first model designs in the case of the battery), if I did I would be giving away secrets!!! 😮
